BREWING SUCCESS
How Zing helped get Partea started
Hailed as “America’s patriotic anti-woke management and ticketing platform”Partea was created after Aedan's team witnessed conservative events on competitor sites being canceled for refusing to kowtow to ‘woke’ narratives.
Inspired by the Boston Tea Partiers standing up for freedom, Aedan O’Connor founded the event-hosting platform Partea in 2024.
Challenging Times
Online events promotion is a crowded marketplace. To stand out from the crowd - for the right reasons - Aedan knew she needed to find the right software company to help her achieve this.
“One of the biggest challenges I found was price,” she recalls.“I didn’t want to go to investors firsts as I wanted to develop the idea.
At just 27 years old and with limited resources, she wanted something affordable, effective and trustworthy
For six months, she unsuccessfully searched various sites for a partner. But none failed to meet his requirements.
“I was like, ‘okay, well those are affordable but I can’t really trust them’,” she remembers. “And then I was talking to American developers and was thinking ‘well they seem legit, but I cannot afford this’.”
A WINNING COMBINATION
That’s when she discovered Zing, who have built a hard-won reputation for taking online businesses to new heights with its digital marketing, optimization and innovative solutions.
After meeting with Zing to see what they could do for Aedan and Partea, she knew she found the right partner for her project.
EASY UNDERSTANDING
Developing websites can seem daunting to people without a technological background.
Aedan, however, appreciated the time Zing took to make sure she understood the process.
“I’m someone who has a lot of questions,” she admits.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT PARTNER
Aedan and Zing worked in close partnership to develop the right look, feel and functionality for the new Partea platform.
The platform enables users to do more than simply create events, according to Aedan.
“Every event creator gets a unique link they can share wherever they want… It also lets you input all the requisite, the important information for events. Dates, times, prices, when tickets will be available and any other information needed. Alongside integrated payment processing, people can also share things easily.”
The platform’s responsive design means it is
fully usable on mobile phones.
The platform’s responsive design means it is fully usable on mobile phones. This was particularly important for Aedan “because people like checking their tickets”.
She adds:“Every event attendee gets a unique ticket so organizers can vet attendees and we can, too, to make sure there’s no bad actors.”
AWESOME ACHIEVEMENTS
Collaborating with Zing paid off for Partea and its founder couldn’t be happier.
“I spent around six months developing the idea and the concept and found the guys at Zing.”
“They developed a fully functioning website with all the requisite functionality included. And, most importantly, we're able to fully use it. ”
“We now have full capability of hosting events, free or paid, and whatever you want to do - assuming you're within the bounds of normality - you're welcome on our site.”
Looking ahead
Noah appreciates Zing going the extra mile to ensure his Shopify app deal completed successfully.
“The Shopify app for SumoMe is fully up-to-date and compliant” he says breathing a sigh of relief.
“It was a term in our sales agreement that if we didn’t have the app working they weren’t going to give us millions of dollars… It was critical that we found someone that was reliable and knew the Shopify ecosystem well enough so that when we transferred it off to the new owners, it wouldn’t become a headache for them or a real problem for us.”
“It was truly a high risk transaction that needed someone we could rely on. And I felt confident as we started working together that the guys at Zing are able to get things done
Noah has a final message for solopreneurs looking for support with the Shopify ecosystem:
“Just send Zing the money. And you just don't have to
worry about it.”
